Licious has launched Daily Protein Fix, a range of fully cooked chicken breasts designed for consumers seeking convenient, high-protein food options without compromising on real ingredients.
The range comes in five variants – Kalimirch, Tandoori, Lemon Herbed, Cajun and Herbed Garlic. Each 200-gram pack delivers 30 grams of protein, with calories ranging between 217 and 311 depending on the variant, and is priced at Rs 229.
Available through the Licious app across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata, the products are built for speed and flexibility – they can be heated in a microwave or pan in roughly two minutes, eaten straight out of the pack, or added into other meals as a quick protein boost.
Tavleen Bhatia, business head of the Ready to Cook category at Licious, said protein has become a near-universal buzzword across food categories today, a shift she views positively as it reflects more conscious eating habits. However, as the term grows more common, she noted that consumers will increasingly want to separate genuine nutrition from “protein-washing.” Daily Protein Fix, she said, is Licious’s answer – real chicken, fully cooked and fresh, delivering 30g of protein in two minutes, with the goal of making high-quality, real-food protein as convenient as reaching for any other everyday food.
The launch arrives at a time when protein is becoming a bigger part of everyday food decisions, even as genuinely convenient, whole-food protein options remain limited for many urban consumers navigating busy schedules and shifting dietary priorities.
