US Activewear Giant Fabletics Sets Foot in India via Reliance Brands Tie-Up

Fabletics, the Los Angeles-founded activewear label, is making its long-awaited entry into India through a strategic partnership with Reliance Brands (RBL).

The launch will kick off with a dedicated India website and the brand’s first mono-brand store at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. A second store in Mumbai is set to follow soon after. As part of the long-term tie-up, RBL will be responsible for growing Fabletics’ footprint in India across standalone stores, e-commerce and experiential retail.

Since its founding in 2013, Fabletics has built a global presence spanning training, running, yoga, Pilates and everyday activewear, operating over 125 stores worldwide and partnering with celebrities like Khloé Kardashian and Kevin Hart along the way. For India, the brand will bring in a full assortment of men’s and women’s activewear across these same categories.

Sumeet Yadav, Head, Reliance Brands, pointed to India’s growing embrace of movement, mindfulness and athleisure among younger consumers as a key driver behind the expansion. He noted that Fabletics’ ability to blend fashion-forward design with everyday wearability made it a strong fit for where the Indian market is headed, with significant headroom to win over a new generation of active consumers.

Meera Bhatia, President, Fabletics, called India a key milestone in the brand’s global growth story, reiterating that Fabletics was built around not making consumers choose between performance, style and value. She added that Reliance Brands’ deep market knowledge and experience scaling international brands locally made it the ideal partner for Fabletics’ long-term plans in the country.
